Where
We Dive
Going diving with friends is what a dive
club is all about. We dive around the British Isles and overseas on a
regular basis, as well as regular training dives at inland sites. Some UK
dive trips use our club RIBs, whilst others use charter boats. Recent dive
destinations have included the Sound of Mull, Rathlin Island, Clyde, St Abbs,
Scapa Flow, Cocos Island and the Maldives, and there are always new plans in
the pipeline. See the Members Forum

the North Wales coast are just a few of the sites we regularly visit.

St Abbs and Eyemouth
Berwickshire, Scottish Borders
Situated close to the English / Scottish border,
the area is a Voluntary Marine Reserve and world class diving
spot.
There is a wealth of spectacular scenery and an
abundance of marine life and just a short boat ride away, wrecks
ranging from 5m to 20m depths.
The harbour wall at St Abbs gives easy access to several excellent
dives, including the renowned Cathedral Rock. |

Cumbrae
Firth of Clyde, Scotland
The isles of Great Cumbrae and Little Cumbrae lie in the
approaches to the lower Clyde which is famous for numerous good
wreck sites although there are also good scenic sites here too.
Cumbrae caters to a range of abilities and preferences, from new
trainees to the more adventurous divers looking for deep dark
wrecks. |

Anglesey
The
surrounding coastline has many wrecks and reefs and is abundant in
marine life.
With
steep rocky cliffs dropping into the sea being frequently broken
by calm, sheltered inlets, it is ideal location for shore diving
and boat launching. Many of the local wrecks are easily accessible
even from the shore although boat divers will find more
challenging ships further out to sea.
The
variety of marine life which inhabits this shoreline is impressive
and underwater photographers are treated to a wealth of subjects.
Conditions can be outstanding, with visibility of 15m not unusual
in the summer months. |

The Farne Islands
There
are between 15 and 20 individual islands lying off the Northumberland
Coast between Bamburgh and Seahouses.
The islands appeal to divers for the
seals, wrecks and a variety sites suitable for all levels of
diver.
The grey seal colony at the Farnes which numbers about 5,000
are curious and will often look in on divers in the water; in
addition to this they are impressive to watch underwater.
Hundreds of ships have been wrecked on the Farnes over the
years, providing plenty for wreck divers to look at.

A five acre BSAC and PADI Scuba Diving Centre located in the heart of
Lancashire.

PADI 5 Star IDC centre situated on the edge of the beautiful Lake District and less than
a mile from the M6 motorway.

Stoney Cove

The Uk’s
National Diving Centre.
Stoney Cove is the most popular of the UK's inland dive sites
and you can be assured that it will be busy at all times of the
year.

Vivian Diving Centre

Situated in the heart of the Padarn
Country Park in the village of Llanberis, North Wales, nestling at
the foot of Mount Snowdon in the beautiful Snowdonia Reserve.
